The Vera 124 grouting system is a two-component acid curing material which is mainly used in conjunction with chemical resistant tiles and bricks.
The Vera 124 binder is a furan modified phenolic resin and the filler is a black, free flowing, acidic powder. This cold curing cement was developed for acid resistant linings.
The Vera 124 cement has excellent thermal stability, with good performance up to a temperature of 180°C.
Composites are now an attractive alternative to higher cost steel and timber that is used for structural support. The added benefit is the improved performance due to the higher strength to weight ratio, and the fire retardancy that is inherent to phenolic resin systems.
